For a lot of us, we now have time.
How many times have you wished for more time, cried out for more time, grumbled that you didn’t have enough time in the day to do what you really wanted to do.
Now, many of us have that time.
And whilst the lockdown, has evoked fear in many, it’s also evoking fear of another kind…the “Oh crap, I’ve got no excuse now!” kind of fear.
Before Covid-19 when life was “normal”, you used the excuse of being too busy to do anything BUT be busy.
So far, you have been using TIME as THINGS I MUST ENDURE.
How about changing that acronym to:
THINGS I MUST EXPERIENCE
THINGS I MUST ENJOY.
Busy was the perfect barrier between you and change, between you and your dreams, between you and stepping out of your comfort zone.
So now, with busy out of the way, are you doing those things you said you wanted to? If going outside isn’t part of it, what’s stopping you from doing those things?
If you are not motivated to do the things you said time was stopping you from doing, maybe you don’t really want to do them and now without time as your protective barrier, you can ask yourself the questions…
What do I really want?
How do I really want my life to look?
What things do I want to be different after this ‘pandemic’ situation ceases?
What am I truly prepared to do to get it?
Who can help me?
